Key Performance Areas
West Coast Institute of Management & Technology Australia (WCIMT Australia) has seven key performance areas (KPAs), and also has a ‘strategic goal’ associated with each of these KPAs.
KPA 1: Flexible Learning & Teaching
Goal: To be recognised for excellence, flexibility and innovation in learning and teaching.
KPA 2: External Engagement: Industry and community partnerships
Goal: To establish and strengthen partnerships that support business and community development.
KPA 3: Valuing our People
Goal: To be an organisation that values and supports its staff.
KPA 4: Intersectional Advantage
Goal: To capitalise fully on intersectional advantage through joint project initiatives and collaborative course design and delivery.
KPA 5: Internationalisation
Goal: To build and sustain linkages, and prepare students for work in an increasingly globalised marketplace.
KPA 6: Research
Goal: To establish a research capacity in order to identify current and emerging training needs, and to inform delivery and assessment.
KPA 7: Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Goal: To sustain a culture of innovation and ethical entrepreneurship.
Of these, flexible learning and teaching and external engagement – industry and community partnerships have a level of primacy that ensures that WCIMT Australia‘s role as a public training provider is always pre-eminent.
